EDC
The English Development Center (EDC) is an initiative I am deeply passionate about, aimed at providing high-quality English education to students in Japan. Inspired by my experiences hosting homestay students during my childhood, I recognized the importance of effective English communication in a globalized world and the disparities in educational resources available in different regions.
At EDC, our mission is to bridge these gaps by offering a comprehensive curriculum that includes pronunciation, grammar, conversation, listening, and writing skills. We focus on personalized instruction, ensuring that each student receives the attention they need to improve and gain confidence in their English abilities. By leveraging native speakers and bilingual instructors, we create a rich learning environment where students can immerse themselves in the language and culture.
In addition to traditional classroom learning, EDC emphasizes the importance of practical application through interactive activities, workshops, and cultural exchanges. We strive to foster a supportive community where students can practice their language skills in real-life situations, enhancing their learning experience and preparing them for future opportunities.
By creating accessible, world-class English education programs, EDC aims to empower students across Japan to communicate effectively and confidently in English, preparing them for success in an increasingly interconnected world.

Ski Instructor
My experience as a ski instructor has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to combine my passion for skiing with my desire to teach and inspire others. Working with students of all ages and skill levels, I focused on creating a positive and supportive learning environment where everyone could feel comfortable and encouraged to improve.
I started by assessing each student’s abilities and understanding their goals, whether they were beginners eager to learn the basics or more advanced skiers looking to refine their techniques. Tailoring my approach to meet their individual needs, I incorporated a variety of teaching methods, including demonstrations, hands-on guidance, and friendly feedback. I emphasized the importance of safety and proper technique while also fostering a sense of fun and adventure on the slopes.
Throughout the season, I witnessed tremendous growth in my students, from those who conquered their fear of skiing for the first time to those who mastered new skills and techniques. It was incredibly fulfilling to see their confidence blossom and to share in their excitement as they achieved their goals.
Being a ski instructor also helped me develop my leadership and communication skills. I learned to effectively convey complex concepts in an easily understandable way, ensuring that my students felt supported and engaged. Additionally, I collaborated with fellow instructors to create group lessons, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere that enhanced the overall learning experience.
Overall, my time as a ski instructor reinforced my belief in the power of education and mentorship, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my love of skiing with others while helping them build their confidence and skills on the slopes.

Computer Science
Proctor/ Assistant
My role as a proctor and assistant in the Computer Science department has been a pivotal experience in my academic journey, allowing me to deepen my understanding of computer science concepts while supporting my peers. As a proctor, I was responsible for overseeing examinations, ensuring a fair testing environment, and addressing any questions or issues that arose during the exam process. This position honed my attention to detail and reinforced the importance of academic integrity, as I worked to maintain a calm and organized atmosphere for students.
In addition to proctoring, I assisted professors in various capacities, including grading assignments, providing feedback, and helping students with lab work. This hands-on involvement allowed me to engage directly with the curriculum and develop a solid grasp of complex topics such as algorithms, data structures, and software development. I particularly enjoyed creating a collaborative problem-solving environment, guiding students through troubleshooting processes and encouraging them to think critically about their coding challenges.
Through my interactions with students, I developed valuable communication skills, learning to explain intricate concepts in an accessible manner. I received positive feedback from my peers, which not only boosted my confidence but also reinforced my passion for teaching and mentoring others in the field of computer science.

Model
My experience in modeling has been both exciting and enriching, offering me the opportunity to explore creativity while gaining valuable skills in communication and presentation. I entered the modeling world with a passion for fashion and an interest in expressing myself through different styles and looks.
During my time as a model, I participated in various photoshoots and runway shows, where I learned to adapt quickly to different themes and concepts. Each assignment challenged me to embrace new styles, poses, and expressions, allowing me to develop a strong sense of versatility and confidence in front of the camera. Collaborating with photographers, stylists, and makeup artists taught me the importance of teamwork and effective communication in bringing a creative vision to life.
I also gained insights into the fashion industry, understanding the nuances of branding and how to connect with audiences. I enjoyed experimenting with different aesthetics and using my modeling platform to promote diversity and inclusivity in fashion. Through this journey, I developed a greater appreciation for the artistry involved in creating compelling visuals.
Additionally, modeling has improved my self-discipline and time management skills. Preparing for shoots and shows often required careful planning and organization, whether it involved maintaining a healthy lifestyle or managing multiple schedules.
